“Late Night Dreams”

And I’m drunken with your love.

My own personal savior

Sent down to me from up above.

You came from a dream late one night

From the depths of my mind’s inner-workings

Riding the currents we took flight

While nearby our nightmares stayed lurking.

We woke up from a dream that stayed firm.

Past the sand of sleep on our eyes

Each second that passes for you I yearn

Every moment we spend; time flies

On the crevices of your chest,

my tears streamed and did seep

Little rivers running east and west

for the unbelievers I did weep.

How could they not feel our love.

It rested in the trees

It floated past

Blowing, roaming,

up high along the breeze.
